Comment: Bad luck to the Inverness boys against strathglass today. I think everyone knows where we went wrong and hope we can learn from our mistakes. It's early in the season and theres plenty of room for improvement. Well done to the first team against Skye, A good start and hoping for more of the same this year. Finally, brilliant work, Tina, for getting the match reports, leagues, results and photos onto the world domain in double quick time. P.S Stevie, I didn't fall over once.

awwwwwwwww Shucks Buzz... its nothing! :D T x

Comment: The photo that Drew was asking about on bebo was from 1994!!!!I remember going to Drum for the game in Ali Aberdeen's beat up Golf AND BEING FORCED TO listen to the Grid "Swampthing".I remember it so well as I was actually allowed out of goal that evening!!(Youre not likely to forget things like that in a hurry.)Match report -I came on as a sub with 10 minutes to go ,set up Gow ..who missed ,got leathered by the wing back and then went to the Benleva...ahhh memories.

Comment: Dink , the reason I missed was likely due to the fact you passed the Ball to me !!! - That in itself even after all these years is still hard to believe

Comment: Peter, now come on!!! YOU of all people should not be talking* about passes(*I was going to say "pass comment" there but you would never pass anything.)Its easier to get a pint off Davie Glass than a pass from you.Look at my PASS STATS PASS MADE PASS COMPLETION % 1 1 100 Thats pretty impressive by anyone's standards.(True, these figures are for the last 20 years but thats surely a minor point.)Plus look how many goals Ive set up for opposing full forwards!

Comment: website's looking very good, shame about that munter Kenny Loades on the welcome page! Whats that about?

Thank you for the compliment on the site.... Mr Loades is there as I felt he looked better than the club logo...  and I feel by having chef there we may attract a larger female fan base.  Hope this explains all  :)  Tx

Comment: So pleased to know that Shinty is strong in Inverness. I had the privilege of playing with Rod Gordon,Denis Swanson and the late Bill Kennedy a great player and a highland gentleman, in the late 50's prior to 'emigrating' to England. I well remember the skills of the Cumming brothers Tommy and Sandy and last but not least Fort Augustus beating Inverness following their Scottish cup final victory at Glasgow. Best wishes.

Its always fantastic to hear from ex players and esspecially anyone with Fond memories from the golden years at Inverness.

Comment: Am I allowed to say well done to the first team for yesterday's excellent win over KInlochshiel?Thought everyone played their hearts out and the win was absolutely deserved. The huge home support were going mental when the third went in-even Clive waved his zimmer above his head! I hear the apres shinty was also of epic proportions!Well done guys , though I still think the second team are better looking!!

Comment: Know its no longer PC to single out players but can I congratulate two youngsters from the second team for their role in a fighting performance at Beauly.Firstly well done to Fraser Heath who kickstarted the fightback with a well taken goal (his first for the club).Anyone who knows the club will know we have in Fraser and Wee G two natural forwards slowly coming to the boil.Secondly congratulations to Reece Munro who made his debut today and did us and his family proud with a great performance.

Its not PC to slag off team mates Dink ;) And just this once I'll allow ya to let young heads swell.  Fraser and Reece did the team more than proud today! :D

Comment: Hi to everyone and thanks for all the good wishes and support. I have had my broken metacarpal(hand, pinky side) plastered and my heel stitched up and already on the road to recovery. I always new that it would take something like this to make me look more closely at my blocking style. Although I still don't remember what actually happened, can anyone throw some light on the subject? Anyway I am looking forward to watching some good shinty from the sidelines for a change. Good luck to both teams. C'mon Inverness!!

Comment: Great to see Inverness Shinty Club on the net. I might not get along much anymore, but I still hold the club dear and have so many fond memories of my time with Inverness. Keep up the good work and all the best for the rest of the season.
